Please join us for our first Spring Clean up day. Here is a list of chores we would like to accomplish. See the list of equipment to bring!

Along Zion Drive/Parking lot:

• Fence needs to be shored up along property line – Kevin Cummings heading up.  
• Rake along fence line. Prune, take out plants crowding curb edging, pick/rake up sticks, limbs.
• Walk the perimeter of parking lot to pick up or rake all debris.
• Lots of weeds in parking lot. Weed killer, burn off, use a shovel to cut them down.

Baby Pool area:

• Paint chain link fence.

Front side of pool house:

• Weed all beds, mulch.

Back side of pool house: (planning only)

• Look over need for awning of some type to shade guards sitting on deck.
• Redesign privacy to bathrooms, maybe design can be incorporated in new awning design.

Path to Bonnie Brea:

• Pick up sticks along path, limbs bring to parking lot.
• Cut English ivy climbing trees.
• Rake all stone onto path, edge.

Back pool area:

• All grassy areas need to be raked; sticks picked up.
• Replace all caps and use caulk to glue them on.

Large Pavilion area:

• Weed beds, mulch
• Prune crepe myrtles & hollies back of property.
• Chop out stump between pavilion pad and fence. Fill space with debris from the stumps ground down.

General:

• Open all umbrellas to see which need to be replaced.
• Clean chemical/pump room
• Paint Bike rack. Color or silver? 
• Finish installing door sweeps

Volunteers should bring:

Volunteers should bring rakes, shovels, loppers, gardening type tools, gloves.  We have two wheelbarrows, maybe another?

Painting supplies (rollers for painting fence, brushes/rollers for painting bike rack, tarps will be supplied).  Dress appropriately.

Will need drills to install sweeps.
